Lynnette J. Bouton

Lynnette J. Bouton, 85, of Glyndon, MN passed away on Monday, January 20th, 2020 at Elim Care Center, Fargo.

Lynnette Jane Morast was born on March 21, 1934 in Minneapolis, MN to Lynn and Nancy (Doane) Morast. Lynnette graduated from Columbia Heights High School. Following graduation, she was a homemaker for many years while her children were growing up. She became a manager at Stop-N-Go Convenience Store for 15 years. Lynnette also kept busy doing secretarial work and running an independent house cleaning business. Lynnette battled with Alzheimer’s disease for many years before she finally went to be with the Lord.

Lynnette loved to be busy and was involved with many groups and activities over the year and she enjoyed donating her time and baked goods. Lynnette had many talents including crafting and sewing but her talents really shined in the kitchen. Lynnette was known for her “Martha Stewart” style of hosting and decorating and made fantastic meals and baked treats for her loved ones to enjoy. She loved spending time with her family and had a wonderful sense of humor. She always greeted each day with optimism and a cheery attitude, even during hard times. She will be greatly missed.

Lynnette is survived by her children, Michael Young, Steve Young, Kristen (Curtis) Carlson, and John (Stephanie) Bouton; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and brother, John Morast.

Lynnette was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robb Young; and sisters, Pat and Barb.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 31st at 11:00 A.M., with a visitation starting one hour before, at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead.
