Madlyn I. Loseth, 95, Fargo, ND, died on Friday, January 11, 2008, in MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, ND.Madlyn I. Loseth was born on January 27, 1912, to Lorenzo Porter and Augusta Wilhelmina Backman Minor, in Hawley, MN. She grew up in Hawley, MN, and graduated from Hawley High School in 1930. She went to Augsburg Business College, then worked for three years in the office of the Federal Department of Transportation, when airports were being improved and enlarged. She worked for George Black in the office at the Store Without A Name for six years.She married Hans Loseth on February 8, 1942, in Moorhead, MN. They lived in Fargo. Hans preceded her in death on May 24, 1994, in Fargo, ND.She is survived by her three daughters, Kathryn Loseth, Roseville, MN, Mary Donald Christensen, Stillwater, MN, and Barbara Daniel Geurts, Buffalo, ND; two granddaughters, Kristine Daniel Hoiby, and Megan Shilo Matson; one grandson, Levi Geurts; one great-grandson, Shilo; and two great-granddaughters, Kayla and Gabriella. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hans; one brother, Richard Minor; and one sister, Alice Davis.The family would like to express their appreciation and thanks to the staff in the Transitional and Palliative Care units at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, ND.
