Margaret Ann (Iverson) Anderson, 91, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Eventide on 8th Nursing Home, Moorhead, MN.

Margaret was born on September 29, 1933, to Neil and Mabel (Goodrich) Iverson on the farm West of Mahnomen, MN. She grew up on the family farm near Faith, MN, attending and graduating from Mahnomen High School. Margaret’s fondness for music was evident as she partook in musical programs such as playing drums in the high school marching band. She was united in marriage to Dale Anderson on November 2, 1952, in Faith, MN, and took pride in raising and taking care of her family. Margaret and Dale owned an apartment complex in South Moorhead called Moresco Manor for nearly forty years and Margaret and Dale took responsibility for managing the upkeep and maintenance of the property, keeping it up to standards.

Margaret had a passion for all types of music and always had something playing in the background. She loved the Christmas season and always looked forward to attending the Concordia Christmas Concerts. She was also known as the master Lefsa maker and had a YouTube Lefsa making tutorial which garnered over 1.9 thousand views.

Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Dale Anderson; children, Mark (Ann) Anderson, Scott (Karen) Anderson, and Eric (Wendy) Anderson; grandchildren, Ryan Anderson, Corie (Jon Drummond) Anderson, Kelly (Justin) Mendenhall, Aron (Ursula Tvenge) Anderson, Derek Anderson, and Dylan Anderson; great-grandchildren, Nils, Andrew, Alex, Koen, Liam, and Oren; and many other loving relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Neil and Mabel; and siblings, Russell, Milton, Bud, Beata, and Roselle.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to any school, community, or church music program of your choosing.
