Marge L. Clark

Marge Clark, 78, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Sunday, February 3rd, 2019 at Chandler Regional Medical Center, Chandler, AZ, surrounded by family.

Marge was born on June 28th, 1940 to Peter F. and Pauline (Benke) Chwialkowski, in Strandquist, MN.  She and her eight siblings grew up on the family farm, and Marge attended school in Strandquist.  She married Melroy C. Clark on September 25, 1965 in Stephen, MN, and moved to Moorhead where they raised three children.

Marge and her husband enjoyed traveling, spending time at the lakes, going for drives and spending winters in Arizona.  She was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed the Twins and Vikings.  Spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild brought her much joy.

Marge will be remembered for her infectious giggle, her funny, Polish slang words and the times she got together with her sisters, where they all spoke Polish that always left them in tears of laughter.

She is survived by her husband, Mel; children, Marielle Clark of Moorhead, MN, Mason Clark of Fargo, ND, and Marla (Peter) Tveten of Chandler, AZ; grandchildren, Arianne Clark, Chloe Tveten, and Christian Tveten, and one great-grandchild, Anton Clark; siblings, Julie Pawloski of Stephen, MN, Virginia Knoll of Grand Forks, ND, Anne Billings of Lake Bronson, MN, and David Chwialkowski of Grand Forks, ND; and many nieces and nephews.

Marge was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Pauline Chwialkowski; brothers, Eugene, Edmund and Ralph; sister, Lucille Watson; and niece, Julia Chwialkowski.

Celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 1, 2019 at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Burial will be in St. Stephen Catholic Cemetery, Stephen, MN, at a later date.
