Margie M. Paasch

Margie M. Paasch died Friday, December 9, 2016 at the age of 92. She was born in Sabin, MN to Louis and Marie Buerke Lobitz December 17, 1923. She went to school in Sabin and graduated from Moorhead High School in 1941.
Margie was baptized, confirmed and married by pastor Paul Schumn in Sabin. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sabin.

She married Roland Paasch December 4, 1948. Margie moved to Moorhead, MN January, 2003 after the death of her husband in May, 2000.

She loved dancing, music, cross word puzzles and other kinds of puzzles.

Margie worked at Wyatt’s General Store, which was changed to the Sabin Red Owl, and American Crystal in Moorhead.
She is survived by one sister, Janice “Boots” Anderson, Dilworth, MN; step-sister, June Beck, Austin, TX; step-brother, Kenny Johnk, Portland, OR; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

Margie was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters, Elizabeth Leonard, Dorothy Krabbenhoft, Esther Schmidt, Lois Snyder; brothers, Fred Lobitz, baby George Lobitz; one niece and three great nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN with a visitation 1-hour before the service.

Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Sabin, MN.
