Marguerite M. Lamblez

Our dear aunt passed away peacefully on Friday, August 28, 2009, at MeritCare's Palliative Care, Fargo, ND. She had most recently been a resident at Eventide Nursing Home in Moorhead, MN. Marguerite Marie Lamblez was born on August 9, 1906, to Francois Xavier Lamblez and Marie Grandadam on the farm three miles south of Lisbon, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lawrence Eleanor Lamblez, Emile Ella Lamblez; and sister, Edna Leo Weiderholt. Marguerite will be lovingly remembered by her nephews and nieces and their familes, Gary Gloria Lamblez, Brent Jill Lamblez, Lorelle Myron Sondreaal, Lynn Willard Jacobson all of the USA; Mark Margaret Lamblez, Charles Lamblez, Joan Dufresne, Lois Roger Caron and Yvonne Laurent of Canada and her grandnieces and nephews. Marguerite obtained her Licensed Practical Nursing Certificate in 1935, at St. Ansgars Hospital in Moorhead where she nursed in the Obstetrics Ward, mostly in the Newborn Nursery, until her retirement in 1973. Marguerite was a very gentle, kind and loving person with a smile. She always thought of others before herself. She enjoyed dancing in her younger days, knitting for the soldiers and Red Cross during the war years and later watching TV.The family wishes to thank the staff at Eventide for their care and compassion.
