Marie C. Hillrud

Marie was born October 25, 1907 to Oscar and Cathryn Jallen in Milnor, ND. She grew up and attended school in Milnor. On August 2, 1927 she married Alfred H. Hillrud in Moorhead, MN. She was a homemaker for many years and later worked for Woolworth's for 21 years, retiring in 1972. Marie loved to garden and take care of her lawn. She took pride in growing both her flowers and her fruits and vegetables. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.She is survived by her daughter in law Marian Hillrud, Mesa, AZ; grandchildren, Diane Bob Beaton, Audubon, MN, David Joy Hillrud, Moorhead, MN, Janice Jim Endersbe, Mesa, AZ, Kathy Warren Sidney, Prattville, AL, Nancy Scott Lomsdal, Moorhead, MN; 11 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; and brother, Floyd Jallen, WA. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred; son, Jack; granddaughter, CloAnn; great great grandson, Logan; brothers, Einer and Palmer; and sister Inez.
