Marilyn Wollitz (Wussow), 97, Moorhead, MN, died on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, in Eventide Senior Living, Moorhead, MN.
Marilyn Strubb was born on October 7, 1924, to Frederick and Beatrice (Meloy) Strubb in Cumberland, Wisconsin. She grew up and attended school there. She moved to San Diego, CA, in 1942 to work in an aircraft factory during WWII. She married Clarence Wussow on December 15, 1946, in San Diego and they moved to Glyndon, MN, in 1947 where they farmed.
Marilyn was a member of the First Congregational UCC church of in Glyndon and was active in the Ladies Aid – Dorcas Circle, Clay County Homemakers, and the Coterie Club of Glyndon.
Clarence died on February 18, 2003. Marilyn later married Leonard Wollitz and he preceded her in death.
Marilyn is survived by her sons Lawrence (Patricia) Wussow, and William Wussow both of Fargo, ND.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clarence “Chuck” Wussow, and Leonard Wollitz; and her brothers, James and Allan Strubb.
