Marilyn K. Torkelson

Marilyn K. Torkelson, 59, of Hawley, Minnesota, died, Wednesday, August 11, 2004, at the Moorhead Health Care Center in Moorhead, Minnesota.Marilyn K. Lokken was born November 16, 1944 in Fargo, North Dakota to Emil and Inez Dahl Lokken. She grew up in Fargo and graduated from Central High School. Marilyn was married to Howard Torkelson on May 25, 1963 in Fargo. Following their marriage they lived in Fargo, and then later moved to Hawley, Minnesota.She was employed at Dakota Hospital in Fargo for twenty-five years.She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.She is survived by her husband, Howard Torkelson, Hawley, MN; four sons, James Torkelson, Fargo, ND, Chad Torkelson, Hawley, MN, Todd Torkelson, Hawley, MN, and Dan Torkelson, Ulen, MN; one daughter, Shelly Kevin McCartney, Kennedale, TX; one grandchild, Allyson McCartney.
