Moorhead, MN

Marionnette Theresa (Gros) Crume, 89, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025, at Riverpointe Assisted Living, Moorhead, MN, under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Marionnette was born on August 15, 1935, to Clovis and Jeannette (Picard) Gros in West Palm Beach, Fl. She grew up in West Palm Beach where she attended and graduated from Palm Beach High School. She met Bradley Crume while he was stationed at Camp Carson, they moved to Glyndon, MN, and they were united in marriage on April 2, 1954. They lived and worked on Brad’s family farm where they farmed, raised cattle. They also owned and operated Tally-Ho Farms and Tally-Ho Kennels and Pedigree services.

Marionnette enjoyed cooking, shopping, scrapbooking, and collecting memorabilia throughout her life. She also enjoyed traveling, especially via bus tours around the country. She had a passion for music, specifically singing, which started when she joined the Capella Choir in High School and that passion continued through her lifetime in one form or another. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family and always welcomed visitors with an open door.

Marionnette is survived by her children, Pauline (Terry) Sannes and Paul Crume; grandchildren, Angela Langlie and Joshua Langlie; great-grandchildren, Kyla and Rei Pederson, and David and Rylan Langlie; great-great-grandson, Antonio Singletary, Jr.; and many other loving relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bradley Crume; parents, Clovis and Jeannette; and her siblings, Elise, Myrtle, Erna, and Clovis.

A private family service will be held.

Marionnette’s family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Riverpointe Assisted Living and Hospice of the Red River Valley for the special care they gave her.
