Mark Dwight Dauner

Mark Dwight Dauner, 57, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, in his home in Fargo. Mark was born on April 7, 1965, to William “Sonny” and Nora (Heller) Dauner in Fargo, ND. He grew up in Hawley, MN, where he attended and graduated from Hawley High School. He worked various jobs as a mechanic prior to beginning his 25-year career with Wallwork Truck Center in 1996 as a diesel mechanic.

Mark loved motorcycles, specifically Harley Davidsons. He enjoyed participating in many benefit rides, going to bike shows, and working on motorcycles. His mechanical mind allowed him to enjoy fixing things. He also enjoyed spending time in the outdoors.

Mark is survived by his siblings, Dean (Betty Jeral) Dauner, Harley (Norma) Dauner, Nancy (Tom) Bjorndahl, and Jerrie (Loren Skjeret) Dauner; several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sonny and Nora.

Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M., followed by the memorial service at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Wright Funeral Home, Hawley, MN. Following the service, a private family graveside service will be held at Lysne Lutheran Church Cemetery. A recording of the service will be available here after the service.
