Mark Schreiner

Mark Richard Schreiner, 43, passed away August, 14, 2016 at Villa Maria, Fargo, ND.

Mark was born July 4, 1973 in Moorhead, MN to Gerane and James Schreiner. He attended St. Francis Catholic School and later Moorhead Senior High School where he ran track prior to graduating in 1991. While in high school he met the love of his life, Shelly Frisch. They were married October 3, 1997 and eventually moved to Fargo.

Mark was someone who always needed to be entertained and motivated and that led him to a colorful career list. He was a member of the ND Air National Guard, worked for Coca-Cola Company and Prairie Business, and was a Stock Broker and Farmer. However, the job he was proudest of and took the most pride in was being a father to his two children, Sammy and Tommy.

His favorite place was being at the lake with family and friends. You could also find him watching a Vikings game, cooking with friends or getting in a round of golf. He was a best friend to many.

Mark is survived by his wife, Shelly; two children, Samantha and Thomas; parents, James and Gerane Schreiner; brothers, Patrick Karen Schreiner, Robert Kim Schreiner, Michael Schreiner; sisters, Christine Michael Lawyer, Claire La ‘Moure and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

The family would like to thank the staff of Villa Maria for the outstanding care they have shown Mark the last five years. He was always made to feel as special as his family knew he was.
