Mary Ann Larson, 94, of Lake Park, MN, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Sunnyside Care Center, Lake Park, MN.
Mary Ann Theis was born on June 24, 1927, to Nicholas and Mary (Krpalek) Theis in Ulen, MN, and graduated from Ulen High School. She moved to Fargo where she met David Larson. They were married on April 24, 1954 and made their home in Lake Park.
Mary Ann stayed home with their four children. When they were older, she went to work at Lake Park elementary school as a Library Aide and Para.
Mary Ann and David spent 18 winters in Mission, TX, until David passed away in 2013. Mary Ann was active in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church Ladies Aid and Christian Women. She enjoyed sewing and quilting as well as being at the lake. Most of all she loved spending time with family.
Mary Ann is survived by sons, Daniel (Margie) Larson, Lake Park, MN, Douglas (Judy) Larson, Lake Park, MN, Steven (Sherri) Larson, Lake Park, MN, daughter, Patricia (Jeffrey) Richtsmeier, Herman, MN; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy (Lonnie) Crabtree; sisters-in-law, Sandy Theis, Marjorie Dahring and Phyllis Nelson, and brother-in-law, Roger (Roberta) Larson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David; sister, Helen (Bob) Rud and brothers, Nicholas, John and George Theis.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, from 5:00-7:00 PM with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Lake Park, MN.
Visitation will continue Thursday, September 16, 2021, from 1:00-2:00 PM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery.
