Mary A. Doran

Mary A. Doran, 72, of Hawley, MN, died Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at home under the care of family and Hospice of the Red River Valley. Mary was born July 26, 1945, at home near Rollag, MN, to Oscar and Evelyn (Gunderson) Holm. She attended school in Hawley and Graduated from Hawley High School. In 1964, Mary married Raymond Doran. Together they made their home in Hawley. Over the years, she worked at American Linen in Fargo, the grocery store in Hawley and later for Comstock Construction. Mary enjoyed spending time outdoors, gardening, cooking, baking and taking care of her pets. She will be dearly missed.

Mary is survived by her husband, Ray; granddaughter, Allie Doran; sister, Madean Bissel of Pennsylvania; brothers, Tony Holm of Washington, Arlan Holm of Fargo, and Marvin Holm of California.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Doran; brothers, Dennis, Tommy and Irving; and sister, Linda Halverson.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 30, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., followed by the Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m., at Wright Funeral Home, Hawley, MN.
