Mary Ann Busby

Mary Ann Busby, 54, of Hitterdal, MN, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, in Sanford Medical Health Center in Fargo, ND. Mary was born on April 13, 1963 to Erling and Judith (Olson) Jeral in Moorhead, MN.

Mary graduated Hawley High School in 1982. She worked as a housekeeper and a cook at various nursing homes, Hawley Elementary, and most recently as a baker at Tony’s Supervalu in Hawley.

Mary enjoyed crafts, needlepoint stitching, puzzles, animals, baking and cooking, and most of all, Mary enjoyed her family.

Mary is survived by her husband, David Busby; children, Jeff and Corey Busby; stepchildren, Angela and Michael Busby; grandchildren, Josh and Samantha Busby; siblings, Betty (Dean Dauner) Jeral, Doug Jeral, and Larry Jeral; dog, Lucy; and many other loving relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Emily Busby; parents, Erling and Judith; and many cousins, uncles, and aunts.

Funeral: Monday, November 20, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Lysne Lutheran Church, rural Hawley, MN, with a visitation one hour prior to the service.

Burial: Monday, November 20, 2017 at Lysne Lutheran Church Cemetery following the service.
