Mary L. Murphy

Mary Louise (Russo) Murphy, 89, died Wednesday February 13, 2019 in her home in Moorhead, MN surrounded by family following a brief battle with cancer.  Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts and the daughter of Sicilian immigrants Joseph and Antoinette (Sulfaro) Russo.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Vincent Paul Murphy and son Paul James Murphy.  She is survived by her children; daughters: Mary Lou Murphy, Susan (Murphy) Sedivec (Wayne), Joseph Murphy (Evelyn), Richard Murphy (Toni), Tim Murphy (Helen), Jim Murphy and Michael Murphy (Mary);  Sisters: Margie Titcomb and Katy Vaughan (Jack); Brothers: John Russo (Yvonne), and Joseph Russo (Janet). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St Jude’s Hospital for Children. Funeral services will be held in May 2019 at Ricker Funeral Home in Woodsville New Hampshire.
