May Torson

May Torson of Fargo, ND passed away on the morning of Saturday, March 28th at Sanford Hospital in Fargo. She was preceded in death by her parents Sophie and Olie Thompson, and her daughter Susan Lokken. She is survived by her spouse David Torson Fargo, her sisters Edna Gahler and Alma Swanson St. Paul, her daughter Nancee Chester Burnsville, her stepchildren Jane Tom Reinertson Torson Las Vegas and Nancy Rick Stern Torson Fargo, and four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

May was born on the family farm in Faribault, MN on May 4th, 1927. Throughout her life she enjoyed many friendships and loved to entertain. She was an active member of the Moorhead American Legion Auxiliary and the Sons of Norway for many years.
