Mayves H. Svare

Mayves H. Svare, 79, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on July 1, 2019 at Farmstead Care, Moorhead, MN.

Mayves Henrietta Svare was born in Pelican Rapids, MN, on October 19, 1939 to Calmer and Emma (Pederson) Svare.  She grew up in Pelican Rapids and graduated from Pelican Rapids High School.

Her first job out of high school was at Froelik Marine where she was a server.  She spent her career as an Operating Room CSR Technician assisting doctors and nurses until her retirement.

Mayves enjoyed gardening, playing piano, singing, shopping (especially for jewelry), and most of all spending time with family and friends.

Mayves is survived by her brother, Kenneth (Marlys) Svare; sister, Elaine Black and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charles Svare; sisters, Delores Svare and JoAnn Monson; two nieces and one nephew.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 8, 2019 at 11:00 AM with a visitation beginning one hour prior to the service at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
