Melvin Jerome Haug

Melvin Jerome Haug, 71, of Ulen, MN, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022, in his home in Ulen, MN. Melvin was born on October 20, 1950, to Edwin and Mable (Myhre) Haug in Moorhead, MN. He attended and graduated from Ulen High School and began farming on the family farm near Ulen.

Melvin was a tinkerer and quite the handyman. He had an eye for all things mechanical and would occasionally fix anything his neighbors would bring him to be fixed.

Melvin is survived by his siblings, Roger (Cindy) Haug and Shirley Haug; nephews, Derek and Damian Haug; and many other loving relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Mabel; brother, Donald Haug; and uncle, Selmer Haug.
