Michael A. Saulsbury

Michael was born August 19, 1950, to Lawrence and Myrtle Hains Saulsbury in Breckenridge, MN. He lived various places growing up while following his father in the U.S. Army. Michael graduated from Fargo South High School. In 1970, he married Marilyn Walker in Fargo and they made their home in Moorhead. He worked for a few years at Silverline before starting with the Moorhead Fire Department in 1975. He retired in 2008, after 32 years of service. He enjoyed riding his bicycle, motorcycle and doing crossword puzzles, but most of all spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.The family would like to thank Hospice of the Red River Valley, especially Mickey and Caroline, for their exceptional care.Michael is survived by his children, Tracy Bedford of Moorhead, MN, Stephanie Josh Fankhanel of Moorhead, MN, Mike Roxanne Saulsbury of Fargo, ND, Mandy Saulsbury of Minneapolis, MN, Tim Saulsbury of Fargo, ND, Sarah Saulsbury of New Orleans, LA; grandchildren, Jake, Derek and Haley; father, Lawrence; and brother, John Maria Saulsbury of Ham Lake, MN.He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle; and brother, Larry.
