Michael Centers

Michael Loren Centers 69, died Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at the Fargo VA Hospital in Fargo surrounded by his loving family.
He was born October 28, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois to Loren and Elsie Hasemann Centers. He attended and graduated from Battle Lake High School in Battle Lake, MN. He enlisted in the Air force on October 9, 1962. Michael was stationed at MacDill Air force Base in Tampa, Florida. Michael married Lorrie Proell on August 25, 1984 in Clearwater, Florida. He worked at the Leslie Paper Company in Fargo and co-owned and worked at Frontier Directory Company in Bismarck, ND. Michael was also a Director of Admission for many private colleges. Prior to retirement, he was a Building manager in Minneapolis. Most of all, Michael enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing and enjoyed traveling. Michael was a member of the American Legion in Moorhead.
He is survived by his wife, Lorrie of Dilworth; children, Leslie Centers of Fargo and Jeffrey Elizabeth Centers of Franklin, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Alexis Centers, Tyler Centers, Samuel Centers, and Arianna Oberhofer; and his special pet, his dog, Annabelle.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Carole; brother infancy, David, and brother Gregory.
Funeral service will be 11 AM on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Dilworth Lutheran Church in Dilworth, MN.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM with a 7 PM Prayer Service at Wright Funeral Home in Moorhead on December 2, 2013 and will continue for one hour before the service at the church the following day.
Interment will be at a later date.
