Michael K. Rudolf, known to everyone as Mike, Age 57, of Glyndon, MN, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2007 in Meritcare Hospital, Fargo, ND, after a brief struggle with cancer. Mike was born on February 18, 1950 in Bismarck, ND, to Alvin and Ada Rau Rudolf. He grew up and attended school in Wishek, ND, graduating from high school in 1968. After high school he attended North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton for one year before enlisting with the Marines in 1970. Following his honorable discharge, he finished his college education at Wahpeton and started employment with Western Electric, a division of Northwestern Bell Telephone Company, now known as Qwest Communications. On February 14, 1976 he married Pamela Eide in Moorhead, MN. They lived on Lake Melissa from 1977 to 1981 before making their home in rural Glyndon, MN. Mike was a member of the CWA Teamsters Union, Glyndon Jaycees, Glyndon Lutheran Church, and the Leech Lake Yacht Club. His enjoyment in life was first and foremost his family, but also spending time at the lakes, particularly the 5 summers spent at Leech Lake Marina in Walker, MN, on his cabin cruiser. Mike is survived by his loving wife of more than thirty years, Pam; two sons, Kelly Fiance Kristi, Reiles Acres, ND, and Casey, Glyndon, MN; sister, Carole Leonard Becker, Bismarck; sister-in-law, Jeanette Rudolf, Vancouver, WA; 16 nieces and nephews; 27 great nieces and nephews; 1 great-great nephew; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jerry; and sister, Sharen.He will be forever missed by us all.
