Michele J. Herzog

Michele Johanna Herzog, 63, of Fargo, ND, passed away unexpectedly, at home, Monday August 27, 2018. Michele was born July 27, 1955, in Kirkland, WA, to Jack and Mykle Moys. She grew up creating fond memories of the green forests and breathtaking coastline of Western Oregon. She attended school in Beaverton, OR and moved to Moorhead, MN in 1974. There she started a family and attended classes at Moorhead State University. Over the years Michele took pride in her artwork, and primarily worked in the mediums of textiles and calligraphy. Above all else, Michele’s children and grandchildren were her heart and joy. Jesus was her cornerstone.

A dedicated grandmother, “Nana”, as she liked to be called by her grandchildren, would craft and play make-believe with them for hour on end. Her “Nana Hugs” will especially be missed. She was a wonderful woman that was deeply loved, will be dearly missed, and who’s memory will always be cherished.

Michele is survived by her loving children, Jeremy Herzog of Palm Springs, CA, Kimberly Herzog-Meng and her husband Jace of Fargo, ND; her adoring grandchildren, Jada, Haven and Willow; mother Mykle Moys and brother Milo Moys of Tigard, OR.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Moys.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, Sept. 4 from 10:00-11:00 a.m., followed immediately by a celebration of life service at Bethel Church, Fargo, ND.
