Michelle M. Forness

Michelle M. Forness, 48, of Fargo, ND, lost her battle to cancer on Friday, May 17, 2013 in Sanford Health’s Palliative Care, Fargo, ND.

Michelle Mary Voss was born on June 23, 1964, in Breckenridge, MN, to Delmer and Judy Keller Voss. She grew up in the Tintah area, graduating from Campbell-Tintah High School. Michelle graduated from NDSCS with her nursing degree. On August 14, 1995, she married Adam Forness in Crookston, MN. In 2003 they moved to Fargo.

Michelle worked as a nurse at various places throughout her career, most recently working at the Roger Maris Cancer Center at Sanford Health. She enjoyed fishing and being on the water, going to rummage sales, and watching the MN Vikings. Most of all, she enjoyed being with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Adam, Fargo; two daughters, Brianna Shannon Seelye, Milnor, ND and Brittany Darrin Dietrich, West Fargo, ND; son, Thane Forness, Fargo; sister, Ronda Voss, West Fargo; brother, Mark Cindy Voss, Casselton, ND; five grandchildren, Shanna, Willow, Caden, Waylon and Emmie; and many aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Delmer and Judy Voss.

Memorial Service: Friday, May 24, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Moorhead, MN.

Memorial Gathering: Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Final Resting Place: Columbarium at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Moorhead, MN.
