Mildred L. Stout

Mildred L. Stout, 91, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Eventide Senior Living, Moorhead, MN.

Mildred was born in Bemidji, MN, on April 24, 1927 to Michael and Lena (Haugen) Dillon.  She grew up in Crookston, MN, and married Donald Stout on September 18, 1958.  In 1968 the family moved to Park Rapids where Mildred took a job in food service for the Park Rapids school district.

Mildred loved watching television, especially this time of year, as she’d watch nearly every Hallmark Christmas movie.  Most of all she enjoyed time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Mildred is survived by her five children; Linda (Jim) Vaessen, Janet (Dale) Stromberg, Diane Berggren, Roger (Lorena) Stout and Deborah Mack; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Howard and sister, Lucille.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 1-2 PM followed by the funeral service at 2:00 at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery, Crookston, MN, following the service.
