Miriam W. Erickson

Miriam Wilda Castonia was born May 29, 1920, in Hillsboro, ND, to Wallace and Mathilde Engeland Castonia. She graduated from Wheaton High School. On May 16, 1942, she married Edwin Erickson in Moorhead. Together they made their home in Moorhead and raised a family. Miriam was a longtime member of Bethesda Lutheran Church. She enjoyed spending time at their lake home on Pelican Lake and especially loved spending time with her family.Miriam is survived by two daughters, Sandra Richard Vigen of Bloomington, MN, and Karen Bill Benson of Waunakee, WI; son, Roger Lisa Erickson of Moorhead, MN; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and sister, Gwen Arthur Erickson of Moorhead, MN.She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Edwin; parents; sister, Dorothy Collins; and brother, Donald Castonia.
