Molly C. Wheeler

Molly C. Wheeler, 89, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Eventide in Fargo. Molly was born October 8, 1935, in Ben Wheeler, TX, to Bill and Juanita (Chandler) Clark. She grew up and attended school in La Marque, TX. After graduating from high school, she continued her education at The University of Texas at Arlington and Texas State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in education. In 1957, Molly married John F. Wheeler and together they made their home and taught in Dallas, TX. They later moved to Alabama where Molly continued to teach and took pride in her activity in the civil rights movement and the desegregation of the school system. They lived in both Wisconsin and Iowa for a time before moving back to Texas to retire. After the death of her husband, Molly moved to Fargo to be closer to family. Over the years, Molly was an avid and knowledgeable reader and gardener. She will be dearly missed.

Molly is survived by her son, John (Emily Williams-Wheeler); and grandchildren, Maggie Wheeler and Cameron (Addy) Wheeler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Wheeler; and her daughter, Jennifer Keathley Carnes.
