Muriel Dahlen

Muriel Dahlen, 102, of Lake Park, MN, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017, at The Evergreens in Moorhead, MN. Muriel was born in Dale, MN, on December 1, 1914, to Christ and Johanna Erickson Bramer. She grew up on the family farm south of Lake Park, MN, and went to country school in her early years. She later rented a house in town with her sister Margaret and attended Lake Park High School, where she graduated in 1933. Muriel married Clifford Dahlen on October 23, 1933. Together they made their home and farmed south of Lake Park. In 1971, they moved in to Lake Park. She enjoyed her time in Lake Park where she worked at the Lefse Factory and also enjoyed going out dancing and spending time with friends. She remained in her home until moving to Moorhead this past year. She will be dearly missed.
Muriel is survived by her daughter, Sandra Reuther; son, Richard Lolly Dahlen; grandchildren, Jody Scott Harris, Troy Monica Harris, Paul Dahlen, Eric Carol Dahlen; great-grandson, Joel VanEaton; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and five sisters.
