Myron was born August 28, 1929, to Henry and Katherine Reiger Klaudt in Ashley, ND. He attended school in Ashley through elementary. In 1941, the family moved to Bismarck, ND, where Myron graduated from high school. He graduated from the School of Banking, University of Wisconsin, Madison. He married Violet Hochhalter on September 5, 1948. Myron was employed with 1st National Bank in Bismarck. In 1959, he transferred to Jamestown as Vice President and Manager of the Installment Loan Department, 1st National Bank of Jamestown. In 1974, he transferred to Hopkins, MN, serving as Vice President of the Installment Loan Department, 1st Bank of Hopkins. In 1976, he left 1st Bank Systems and moved back to Jamestown, ND, to manage the Installment Loan Department of Stutsman County State Bank. Upon retiring in 1994, Myron and Violet moved to Moorhead, MN. There they were members of the First Congregational Church in Fargo.Myron was a member of the Bismarck Jaycees, Bismarck-Mandan male chorus, Elks Band, North Dakota Bankers Association and served as Chairman of the Board of Installment Loan Committee, Board Member of United Way, was a Mason, and President of Sertoma Club, all in Jamestown.
He is survived by his wife, Violet; three children, Deborah (Douglas) Grenz, Douglas (Margaret) Klaudt, Donna Dodge; six grandchildren, Levi Klaudt, Nick Dodge, Lisa (Ryan) Gellner, Matt Grenz, Mike Dodge, Jon Grenz; two step-grandchildren, RoAnne Holzworth, Ross (Katie) Holzworth; two step great-grandsons, Joey Bosley, Cruz Gellner; and nephew, Dwight Klaudt.
Myron was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Milton; sister, Monica Bohart; and a grandson, Dustin Dodge.
