Myron R. Dewey

Myron R. Dewey, 55, of Moorhead, MN, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015 in Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.

Myron Ross Dewey was born on Aug. 5, 1959 in Moorhead, MN, to Richard and Doris Johnson Dewey. Myron grew up in Moorhead and graduated from Moorhead High School in 1977. After graduation, he attended Detroit Lakes Technical School and NDSU, where he earned a degree in architecture. Myron worked for National Muffler for close to 25 years. On Feb. 1, 2008 Myron married Sheila Gilbertson in Trinity Lutheran Church, Moorhead, MN. Myron enjoyed fishing, golfing and organizing trips with his friends. He will be dearly missed by all.

Myron is survived by his wife Sheila, Moorhead; brother, George Dewey, PA; uncle, Harry Johnson, West Fargo, ND; parents-in-law, Ralph and Kay Gilbertson, Moorhead; and two brothers-in-law, Matt Kim Gilbertson, Moorhead and Ryan Gilbertson, Fargo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Doris Dewey; brother, Jeffrey Dewey and aunt, Geri Johnson.

Memorial Gathering: Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Memorial Service: Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church, Moorhead, MN.

Interment: Maple Sheyenne Lutheran Church Cemetery, Harwood, ND.
