Myrtle Corneliussen, 92, Crookston, MN, died on Friday, June 28, 2013, in Villa St. Vincent, Crookston.
Myrtle Lyngby was born on December 1, 1920, in Hannaford, ND, to Mathias and Karen Thuen Lyngby. She grew up and attended school there.
Myrtle married Carl Wrede on July 21, 1940, in Moorhead, MN, and he died on June 2, 1973. She married Melvin Corneliussen on August 23, 1968 in Rustad, MN, and they lived in Comstock, MN, until moving in to Moorhead in 1995. Melvin died on August 10, 1994.
Myrtle enjoyed reading, watching birds, and playing poker with her friends.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald Wrede, Fargo, ND, and Robert Wrede, West Fargo, ND; daughter Mary Kenneth Miller, Fisher, MN; sister-in-law Elizabeth Lyngby; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Melvin and Carl, son David Wrede, one sister and three brothers.
Funeral: Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at 2:00 P.M., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral in the funeral home.
Interment: Comstock Cemetery, Comstock, MN.
