Nancy A. Lunneborg

Nancy Ann Lunneborg passed away on November 14, 2016 at her home in Hawley, MN. She was born August 14, 1937 on the farm in rural Wahpeton, ND, to Cyril and Emily Rezac Merchant. She attended grade school in Galchutt, ND and graduated in 1955 from Abercrombie, ND. She attended Valley City State and taught in a rural school in Nansen Township near Barney, ND. Nancy was an accountant for grain elevators for many years at various locations and was a postal clerk at Hensel, ND.
Nancy was an active member in St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Ladies Guild, Religious Ed Coordinator, Hospice Volunteer, American Legion Auxiliary, and an avid Nugget fan. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing cards, games and visiting with her many friends. Most of all, she enjoyed helping anyone in need.
She is survived by her two sons, Tim Mary and Steve; her two daughters, Shelley Mike and Lisa Aaron; her grandchildren, Jessica Bret, Andrew, Emily Brian, Kristin Brett, Nick, Alex, Katelyn, and Grace; her great- grandchildren, Lataya, Madeline, Maria, Elliot, and Makena. She is also survived by her sister Maxine, special nephews Dan, Rob and Mike Leake and their families, many cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as her very special friends that she cherished dearly.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Wayne, her parents, her brothers, Donald, Robert and Richard, her sisters, Margaret and Carol, and three brothers-in-law.
