Nancy Bromley

Nancy Ann (Hall) Bromley passed away March 29th, 2023 peacefully at home at the age of 82.  Nancy was born March 26, 1941 in Hawley, MN to Claude and Lola (Bartholomay) Hall. The family later moved to Leonard, ND where Nancy graduated from Leonard High School in 1959.

Nancy was working at St. Luke's hospital as a nurses aid when she met the love of her life Dennis Bromley at the Crystal Ballroom in Fargo the fall of 1960.  Dennis and Nancy were married July 15th 1961 at First Lutheran in Fargo, ND. Dennis and Nancy eventually moved to their home in Kragnes, MN where they lived for 39 years.

While living in Kragnes, they attended North Buffalo Lutheran church and purchased a lake cabin on Strawberry lake in 1966. Dennis and Nancy raised 4 children and faithfully brought them to the lake as much as possible where the kids grew to love lake life. In 2001 they retired and moved to the lake year round. In 2018 they sold the lake cabin and moved back to Moorhead, MN and rejoined North Buffalo Lutheran church.

Nancy worked 19 years at Kmart pharmacy where she enjoyed helping people. Before retiring Nancy was active at North Buffalo and Lund church with Welca, bible studies and ladies groups.  Nancy loved flowers and gardens, traveling and spending time with family and friends.  Nancy's greatest joy was being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her beautiful family.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband Dennis, brother Ronald Hall,  children Sherri and Paul (Fossum), Duane and Karen Bromley, Darrell Bromley, Sheila and Cory (Laxdal).  Grandchildren - Brittany, Nikki, Jesse, Brandon, Patrick, Jordan, Morgan and Paige.  Great grandchildren – Miacaella, Xavior, Lucas, Archer, Finnegan, Grace, Sophia, Noelle, Eleanor, Violet and Naomi.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, siblings – Charles, Joyce and Sandra, grandsons Cody and Scott. She will be missed by all.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Buffalo cemetery association.

Visitation will be Friday, April 14, from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., followed by the memorial service at 2:00 p.m., at North Buffalo Lutheran Church, rural Kragnes, MN.
