Nancy S. Lofgren

Nancy S. Lofgren, 70, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND.

Nancy Sue Offutt was born to Berch and Mae (Hord) Offutt on February 23, 1950 and grew up on the family farm near Glyndon, MN. She was active in 4-H, drama and choir growing up and graduated from Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton in 1968. She went on to attend Interstate Business College.

In December of 1970, Nancy married Ron Lofgren at Grace United Methodist Church in Moorhead, MN. Together they ran a mobile home park for three years.  She later took a job in U.S. Bank’s Imaging and Records department until her retirement in 2012.

Nancy and Ron were lifelong Grace United members and she was passionate about singing in the church choir. She loved life and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with family, playing games, and hosting holiday get togethers.

She is survived by her husband, Ron; sons, Michael (Nicole) and Matt; brothers, Steve Offutt, South Pasadena, FL, and Richard (Charlotte) Offutt, Summerfield, FL, and grandchildren, Victoria, Maya and Samuel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Berch and Mae, and brother, Randy and his wife Rae.

A private family service will be held with a public service being scheduled for a later date at Grace United Methodist Church, Moorhead, MN.
