Norma E. Richter

Norma E. Richter, 82, Rosewood on Broadway, Fargo, ND, died there on Sunday, November 8, 2009. Norma Elizabeth Miller was born on March 10, 1927, at Krum, ND, to Albert and Emma Miller. She grew up there and graduated from Hazen High School. Norma married Reuben B. Richter in January of 1946. They spent the early years of their marriage in southern United States and farming in western North Dakota before moving to Fargo where she worked at the Independent Study Library at N.D.S.U. She was an active member of the Quilter's Guild. She loved to tend her gardens and feed the hummingbirds, and she enjoyed traveling with her family. Reuben died on March 1, 2007. Norma is survived by her son, Kim Joanie Richter, Arlington, TX; daughter Karen Adkins, Fargo, ND; sister Helen Doc Hilz, Beulah, ND; four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Reuben and her sister Betty Lou.
