Oliver C. Noennig was born on March 21, 1924, in Altenburg, Missouri, the son of Theodore and Clara Laudner Noennig.Ollie lived the first 37 years of his life in Altenburg where he worked for his father who owned Noennig's Sales and Service Appliance store and also a sizeable apple and peach orchard. He was married to Opal Fulbright on December 19, 1948. The Lord blessed Ollie & Opal with 59 years of marriage and three sons. In 1961 Ollie's family moved to Arlington, MN where they lived until 1970 when they moved to Mayer, MN. Ollie worked as a machinist for Farmhand in Green Isle, MN for 25 years. Then for several years he worked as a janitor at Young America Corporation. In 2003, Ollie & Opal moved to Young America, MN where they resided until Opal died in 2008. Following Opal's death, Ollie moved to Moorhead where he was a resident at Fairmont and Eventide until his death on January 6, 2009.Ollie enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, baseball, growing fruit trees and harvesting the fruit. Regular worship and daily prayer were priorities in his life. He was a gentle, kind, giving man who will be dearly missed here on earth. We rejoice with him as he now joins Jesus in his eternal home.Ollie was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Hilmer and Milbert, and by his wife. He is survived by his sons and their families:ââ¬Â¢ Dennis of Young America, MN and his children Jill Eden Prairie, MN and Jason Chicago, IL.ââ¬Â¢ Bruce and wife Gwen Moorhead, MN and their children, Rachel Adam Schutte and Ollie's great-grandchildren Alayna and Jade of Elk River, MN, Daniel Lincoln, NE and Bethany.ââ¬Â¢ Mark and wife Cindy and their children Carrie Chaska, MN, Katie, Caleb and Joshua.
