Ora L. Bialke

Ora Carvell Bialke 97 of Moorhead, MN passed away on Friday February 22, 2013 at Eventide, Moorhead, MN.

Ora Louise Voth, daughter of Frank and Anna Voth was born Oct 11, 1915 in Benedict, ND. She grew up in the Turtle Lake area. On May 5, 1935 she was united in marriage to Clayton Carvell. They lived at Washburn, ND, then moved to Fargo. Clayton passed away in March of 1968.
Ora married Raymond Bialke in October of 1968. They resided in Fargo. Ray passed away in June of 1988.

Ora will be greatly remembered for her love of baking, especially her donuts which her grandchildren loved. She was a very giving person, opening her home to many strangers over the years by renting out her rooms for as little as $5/night to families of extended stay patients of St. Lukes Hospital-now Sandford. Ora even gave up her own bedroom on many occasions. There were always fresh baked items and coffee in the morning. Ora also loved to fish and spend time in her garden.

She is survived by a daughter, Orlene Nundahl, Moorhead, MN, three sons, Alfred Janet Carvell, Washburn, ND, Delbert Marlys Carvell, Mesa, AZ, Milton Ardis Carvell, Fargo.
Seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and a great-great grandson.

Ora is also survived by five sisters:Verla Meyer, Sioux Falls, SD Harriet Christopherson, Garrison, ND, Ella Rieme, Garrison, ND, VivianWarrenKraft, Turtle Lake, ND and Clara Rieser, St Charles, MN, two brothers, Arlo Frieda Voth, Turtle Lake, ND and Lynn BettyVoth, Minot ND.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 20th at 11:00 a.m., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead.
