Orvis N. ’Buster’ Kline

Orvis "Buster" Neil Kline, age 92 of Moorhead, MN, passed away on December 11, 2010 in his home. Orvis was born on May 21, 1918 near Ulen, MN, to Herman and Mary Leonhardt Kline. He grew up on the family farm, and attended school near Ulen. He was honorably discharged from the Army's 6th Engineer Combat Battalion having served in the South Pacific during WWII. He was a life member of the VFW. He worked for the Sunshine Biscuit Company for 19 years. Upon retiring from there he worked at Town and Country Golf for 30 years. He married Florence Olson on October 6, 1938. Three children were born to them; Roger and Marilyn, both who died at infancy and Raymond. He is survived by his son, Raymond Diane; grandson, Wade Ann; great-grandson, Mason; two sisters, Deloris Phillip and Darline Brugma; sister-in-law, Lydia; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, son and daughter, sisters, Pearl Lathrop, Violet Oien, Mildred Hogfoss and brother, Edward Kline.
