Osie L. Juve

Osie L. Juve, 98, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Ecumen Evergreens of Moorhead. Osie was born May 8, 1926, in Kingston, WI, to Claude and Lucy (Mottet) Moore. At an early age, the family moved to Sebeka, MN, where she grew up and attended country school. Following high school, she moved to Moorhead where she met her future husband, James Juve, Sr. They were married on October 6, 1945. Together they made their home and farmed north of Moorhead. James died in 1991, and Osie continued to live on the farm. She later enjoyed working at Dakota Hospital (now Sanford) for several years until she retired. Osie enjoyed spending time outdoors, gardening and most of all spending time with family and friends. She will be dearly missed.

Osie is survived by her children, LeRoy (LeAnn) Juve of West Fargo, ND, Audrey Kwasnica of Winnipeg, Canada, James Juve, Jr., of Azle, TX; grandchildren, Lisa, Kari, Ryan, Joshua, Jason, Amanda and Nicholas; as well as eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James, Sr., and her brother, Orville Moore.
