Pamela J. Kronbeck, 67, of Hawley, MN, died Monday, May 4, 2020, at Eventide on 8th, Moorhead, MN. Pam was born August 30, 1952, in Moorhead, MN, to Julian and Betty (Handegaard) Johnson. She grew up and attended school in Hawley, where she graduated from high school. After high school she attended Moorhead Tech for medical transcription. On July 8, 1972, Pam married Timothy Kronbeck at Hawley Lutheran Church. They moved to Denver, CO for a short time, but together they made their home in Hawley. Over the years, Pam worked as a medical transcriptionist. She worked at Dakota Clinic in Fargo, Air Force and Accounting Center (Denver), the VA Hospital in Fargo, Rapat Corp. in Hawley, the IRS in Fargo and Hawley Medical Center. She enjoyed staying active at Hawley Lutheran Church where she was involved in Sunday School, Bible School, Bible Study, was the Parish Education Director, on the Church Council, part of the WOW (Worship on Wednesdays) Team and the Bell Choir, and on the Mission Committee. Pam was also an active member of Red River Valley TEC (Teens Encounter Christ), a talented pianist and guitar player and enjoyed singing in the Joyful Noise group for many years. Most of all however, she loved spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed.
Pam is survived by her husband, Tim; son, Jamie (Amy) Kronbeck and their children, Anna and Ian; daughter, Melissa (Cory) Keith and their children, Claire, Elena and Craig; parents, Julian and Betty Johnson; brother, Randy (Vicky) Johnson; nieces and nephews, Mackenzie Johnson, Alex (Jocelyn) Johnson, Kelsey (Kyle) Haspel and their daughters, Mya and Maci, Joshua Johnson, as well as countless dear relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents.
Memorials will be given to REACH, Feed my Starving Children, and Hawley Food Bank.
Visitation will be on Thursday, August 27, from 5 – 7 p.m., at Hawley Lutheran Church, Hawley, MN.
Memorial service will be on Friday, August 28, at 3:00 p.m., at Hawley Lutheran Church, Hawley, MN.
Interment will be at Hawley Cemetery.
