Patrice M. “Trecie” Anderson

Patrice M. “Trecie” Anderson, 73, Osage, MN, died on Thursday, November 12, 2015, surrounded by her loving family in St. Mary’s Hospital, Detroit Lakes, MN.
Patrice Tufton was born on August 31, 1942 in Moorhead, MN, to Pardus and Agnes Bernsdorf Tufton. She grew up and attended school there, graduating from the Moorhead State Campus School. She went to work for Sweeney Brothers in Fargo, ND. Patrice married Skip Anderson on April 19, 1963, in North Buffalo Lutheran Church at Kragnes, MN. They made their home in Fargo, ND. She worked at R & G Bootery, the Highway Host, National Beauty Supply, and Johnson Drug, retiring in 1994. In retirement Patrice and Skip moved to the home that they built on Toad Lake near Osage, MN.
Patrice’s main focus in life was her family. She enjoyed cooking, quilting and was known for her chocolate chip cookies. She loved to host and feed people, and never let anyone leave hungry.
She is survived by her husband, Skip, Toad Lake, Osage, MN; children Kim Robert Scheidecker, Fargo, ND, Kori Terry Babb, Hawthorn Woods, IL, and Joe Roxie Anderson, Fargo, ND; one sister, Elaine Ted Haslerud, Ulen, MN; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Marilyn Kluck.

Visitation: Monday, November 16, 2015, from 5-7 P.M., with a prayer service at 7, in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
Funeral: Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at 11:00 A.M., in Hope Lutheran Church, North Campus, Fargo, ND.
Interment: Kirkebo Lutheran Cemetery, Perley, MN.
