Patricia A. Woodbury

Patricia A. Woodbury, 66, of Moorhead, MN, died Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Essentia Health, Fargo, ND.

Patricia Ann Kompelien was born on April 28, 1948 in Minneapolis, MN to Silas and Dorothy Jensen Kompelien. She grew up in the Minneapolis area, where she graduated from Abraham Lincoln Senior High School, Bloomington, MN. In 1970 she graduated from Moorhead State University with a Bachelor’s degree in physical education. On May 1, 1971, Patricia married Robert Woodbury in Minneapolis. They moved to Iowa and lived there until 1982, then moved to Mosinee, WI, where Patricia started her career with McDonald’s. They moved to Moorhead, MN in 1993 where they have since resided. Patricia continued to work as a manager for McDonald’s until her retirement in 2005. Patricia loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who she loved dearly.

Patricia is survived by her husband of 43 years, Robert, Moorhead, MN; two sons, Jason Brenda Woodbury, Richmond, TX and Shawn Wendy Woodbury, Bloomington, IN; daughter, Jennifer James Noel Woodbury, Fargo, ND; mother, Dorothy Kompelien; grandchildren, Justice and Saida Noel, Hayden Woodbury, and Jackson Woodbury; her twin brother Wayne Peggy Kompelien, Arlington, TX, and brothers, Craig Barbara Kompelien, Savage, MN and Larry Jody Kompelien, Blaine, MN; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral: Sunday, July 20, 2014, at 1:00 PM at Wright Funeral Home, 2nd Avenue South, Moorhead, MN 56560.

Visitation: One hour before the service.
