Patsy J. Lanning

Patsy Rawson was born on February 6, 1933 in Orleans, Nebraska to Willard and Mable Blue. She grew up in Nebraska and Anoka, MN, where she attended school. On August 2, 1952 she married John Lanning, in Anoka, where they lived until 1963. They moved to Dilworth, where they raised their two daughters. Patsy was a homemaker, and more recently worked at Target in Moorhead and Mesa, AZ, where she spent her winters. She enjoyed sewing and reupholstering, gardening, and most of all, spending time with her family. She is survived by her loving husband, John; two daughters, Sue John Ringdahl, West Fargo and Carol Roger Meehan, West Fargo; two sisters, Doris Bass, Anoka and Esther Al Hamman, Coon Rapids, MN; five grandchildren, Justin, Shane, Kristin, Ashley and Kayla; and four great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Devyn, Alex and Tanner. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ivan Rawson; three sisters, Margaret, Betty and Rose Rawson; and one granddaughter, Sarah Olsen.
