Paul Heinrich

Paul Heinrich, 63, of Moorhead, MN, died Monday, October 26, 2020, at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND.

Paul Messick Heinrich was born on September 12, 1957 in Crookston, MN to Helen Thorson Treichel and John Messick. Paul was the oldest of 6 children and attended school in Moorhead. He worked for various businesses in the Fargo-Moorhead area including American Crystal Sugar. After his health began to decline, Paul continued to work by helping family and neighbors with various projects to keep him busy.

Paul enjoyed 70’s rock and roll music and playing his guitar. He loved spending time with his family and was fortunate enough to spend special time with his grandson, Ozric Hogen. He always had a soft spot for his beloved dogs over the years. Paul was an avid bottle and jar collector traveling to flea markets and antique stores to grow his collection. He also enjoyed gardening. He had a warm, friendly laugh and he will be greatly missed by his loved ones.

He is survived by his daughters, Dezarae and Jessie; several grandchildren; sisters, Deb (Mike) Fairbanks, Rebecca (Jon) Schroeder, Melinda (Joel) Pederson, and Elizabeth (Stan) Lisenbee; and many nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Gregory Heinrich.
