Paul Lampl

Paul Duane Lampl, 63, of Hawley, MN, died Sunday, February 21, 2016 at home with his family.
Paul was born September 26, 1952 at home on the farm, to Harriet and John Lampl of Regent, North Dakota. Paul moved to Nevis, MN with his family, and graduated from Nevis High School. Paul attended Northwest Technical College in Detroit Lakes and received an Associate’s degree in Auto Mechanics. Paul married his wife Rachel Hawks in 1975 in Nevis, MN. They moved to Fargo, ND, where he worked at St. Luke’s-MeritCare-Sanford Hospital for thirty-nine years. He saw them thru many changes. He retired in 2014. He moved to Rollag, MN in 1996.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, John and Harriet Lampl, sister, Cathleen Kuntz, and brothers Gerald and John Lampl.
Paul is survived by his wife, Rachel Lampl; daughter, Annette Lampl Nygaard of Moorhead, MN; grandson, Burke Nygaard of Moorhead, MN; brothers, Robert Lampl of Park Rapids, MN, David Lampl of West Fargo, ND, Daryl Lampl of Park Rapids, MN, and Duane Lampl of Park Rapids, MN.
