Pauline Dorval

Pauline Dorval, 85, of Villa Maria Nursing Home, 3102 S. University Drive, Fargo, ND, died on Saturday, July 16, 2005, in Villa Maria Nursing Home. Pauline Dobler was born on March 13, 1920, in Ventura, North Dakota, the daughter of Gottfried and Christina Mueller Dobler. She grew up and attended school in Ventura, ND. After school, Pauline worked as a nanny in California and traveled. She moved to Fargo, North Dakota, in 1944. Pauline met and later married Henry T. Dorval on April 6, 1946, at Wild Rice, North Dakota. After their marriage, Pauline and Henry made their home in Fargo, and Pauline was a homemaker. In 1958 they moved to a farm north of Fargo, where they lived until moving to the Villa Maria Nursing Home in Fargo in December of 1995. Her husband, Henry, preceded her in death on July 29, 1996. Pauline continued to reside at the Villa Maria. She is survived by her son, Duaine H. Denise Dorval, 2525 – 29th Avenue South, Moorhead, MN; one brother, Dan Dobler, Tower City, North Dakota; one grandson, Jesse Dorval, Moorhead, MN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry; five brothers and four sisters.
