Pauline Kay Preston

Pauline K. Preston, age 74, Fargo, ND, died Thursday, November 29, 2018, at her home in Fargo.

Pauline was born to Clifford R. and Clara Peterson at St. Ansgar Hospital, Moorhead, MN, on September 26, 1944.  She grew up in Fargo and graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1962.  She was married at Grace Lutheran Church in Fargo.  They lived in Fargo for two years and then moved to the Iron Range for several years.  Pauline then moved back to Fargo and attended and graduated from Moorhead State University in 1981.  She retired from the Veterans Administration in Fargo after 27 years of employment.

She enjoyed playing women’s softball, pitching league and tournament horseshoes, and was an avid Bingo player.

She was a loving grandmother to her three granddaughters, Taylor, Natalie and Anna, and enjoyed spending time with them.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Rudy (Beth Desotel), with granddaughter, Taylor; daughter, Valerie (Peter) Tomhave, with granddaughters, Natalie and Anna; brother, Ronald (Jeanne) Peterson, of Bemidji and her twin sister, Paulette Johnson, of West Fargo, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, December 3, 2018, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home in Moorhead. The funeral service will be Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Moorhead.
