Pauline Mary Osgood

Pauline Mary (Svir) Osgood, 89, of Dilworth, MN, formerly of Sun City, AZ, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021, in Serenity Assisted Living, Dilworth, MN.

Pauline was born on October 22, 1931, to Joseph and Anna (Ruschman) Svir in Badger, MN. She grew up in Badger where she attended and graduated from Badger High School. Pauline worked for the bank in Badger before meeting Gordon “Corky” Thompson. They were united in marriage in 1950 and made their home in Moorhead where they raised three children. Pauline worked as an accountant for Silver Line Boats which later merged into Larson Boats.

Pauline met Sewall “Bud” Osgood and they were united in marriage on May 12, 1989, in Arkansas. They moved to Sun City, AZ, where they enjoyed their retirement years together.

Pauline loved golfing and playing cards at the club. Bud and Pauline also enjoyed traveling all over the United States and abroad. Some of their favorite vacations were family reunions, Alaska, the Caribbean, Germany and Lutsen. She also enjoyed making strawberry rhubarb jelly for the family every year. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pauline is survived by her children, Robby Thompson and Nancy (Richard) Stigen; grandchildren, Eric (Andrea) Ramsey, Sarah Ramsey, Cooper Thompson, Anne (Shane) Lindwick, and Cody Stigen; great-grandchildren, Destiny, Gauge, Dean, Dylan, Hunter, and Ellie; and one great-great grandchild on the way; brothers, Leo (Pat), Robert, and Paul Svir; many nieces, nephews, and other close family members. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bud; parents, Joseph and Anna; daughter, Patty Alsader; baby Thompson; sister, MaDonna Desrocher; and brothers, Ronald and Artley Svir.

Pauline’s family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Serenity Assisted Living for the care and devotion they provided Pauline.

In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to Serenity Assisted Living.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., followed by the memorial service at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
