Pauline “Polly” Bombardier Krogen

Pauline Jean (Polly) Krogen died Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Sanford in Fargo. She was born in Nashwauk, MN, on August 16, 1928 to Robert and Florence (Delorme) Bombardier. At a young age the family moved to Crookston, MN, where she graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy in 1946.  She attended the College of St. Benedict for two years and then went to Minneapolis to work.

On January 13, 1951 she married Roger Krogen in Las Vegas, NM.  After a few years they moved to El Paso, TX and in 1959 they settled in Moorhead.

She is survived by her husband, Roger, son Kyle of Salt Lake City, UT, son Daniel of St. Peter, MN, four granddaughters, and sister Cheryl (Paul) Seguin of Venice, FL. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Audrey Scarr, nieces Amy Potthast and Sarah Buss, and a special Aunt Evelyn Scully.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., with a wake service at 7 p.m., Sunday, July 14, at Wright Funeral Home in Moorhead. The funeral Mass will be noon Monday, July 15, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Moorhead. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Polly’s memory to Hospice of the Red River Valley or the Alzheimer’s Association Minnesota-North Dakota Chapter.
