Pearl I. Grover

Pearl I. Grover, age 97, of Moorhead, MN, died on Thursday, November 14, 2013, in Eventide Senior Living, Moorhead, MN. Pearl Isabel Boulton was born August 4, 1916, to George and Annie Boulton near Kragnes, MN, where she grew up and attended Oak Mound School. Pearl worked at Fairmont Creamery, Sears, and then attended Beauty School and worked for Mil-And Beauty Shop. She married Raymond Grover on November 30, 1948 in Moorhead. They farmed and Pearl soon became a farm wife, cooking and driving grain truck to the Kragnes Farmers Elevator. They enjoyed many summers at Big Cormorant Lake with the neighbors, traveling and many winters in Hawaii. Ray died April 7, 1993. Pearl moved into Moorhead that fall and lived in the Wright Apts. She entered Eventide Catered Living April, 2005 and then the nursing home on November 25, 2006 and continued to live there until her death. She will be remembered for her chocolate brownies and ice cream cakes plus the many holidays that they entertained the family.

Pearl is survived by her many nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray; sisters, Margaret and Eleanor; and a brother, George.
